    Next Year in Jerusalem

Oh how I wish that I could expect to be in Jerusalem next year. For now it is but a dream. Perhaps it will happen one of these days.

It saddens me to see all that has been happening with Israel in the last few years. Well, not everything saddens me. Israel has been proving itself quite resilient through all of the trials. Though the current situation is still scary and precarious, they are probably stronger and more secure than then were before October 7, 2023. The situation in Iran is currently still a mess, but at least the terrorist regime has been weakened substantially. Hamas has been weakened substantially (though sadly, they still exist), but Gaza is now half-occupied by Israel again. Not that anyone wants Israel occupying Gaza, but at least terror doesn’t reign where Israel occupies.

I hope to get back there sometime soon!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

    Crossing the Road

Why did the chicken cross the road? Why, to get to the other side, of course. I vaguely remember when I thought that joke was funny.

That is indeed a very elegant-looking chicken. I wonder how the photographer managed that shot. It is so nicely lit, and has what appears to be a studio background. Could it be that the chicken was photographed in a professional studio?

This rooster looks just a little less noble, I would say. But then, do roosters ever look noble?

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

  • Hola Amigo

    Hola Amigo

Technically, I have been to Mexico a couple of times, but really, I think only one of those occasions really counts.

I spent a week in Acapulco, and did some BASE jumping from a building. It was an event organized by Avery Badenhop, although he didn’t live long enough to join us. That was kind of sad, but still, it was a pretty amazing trip.

I have not seen this Mayan site. I’ve been to one that I think was even better—Tikal, in Guatemala—but still, it would be nice to see more of Mexico too.
